I just needed a change.

Nothing much to update about.

School = Okay.  Nothing great but nothing horrible.
Friends = the Best Ever!
Band = Meh.  Finally getting some parts of Masque, but still a ways to go.  Awesome song though.  Solo & Ensemble this Saturday.  I LOVE my Solo this year!  Lets just hope we can fit it with the piano.  Quartet... no comment.
Orchestra = Pre-UIL tomorrow.  UIL next week.  Then... FREEDOM!
Life = All in all great.

Well here's my Reflections Piece that's going to STATE. 

Dear God...

Dear God.  It’s me again, Elizabeth Anne Wilkerson.  Anne with an “e” at the end.  Remember?  Good, I knew you would.  Today Mommy took me to get my new shiny shoes.  They have a nice shiny buckle and a really pretty bow on it.  I can’t wait for Daddy to come home so he can see them.  Mommy says I get to wear them for a very special occasion and that Daddy will be there too!  When’s Daddy coming home?  He’s been gone such a long time.  I’ve seen Mommy crying a lot more lately.  That makes me sad.  Please make Mommy stop crying.  I know Daddy will be home any day now and then everyone will be happy.  God?  Why has Daddy been gone so long?  Mommy says he was gonna be back two days ago.  That’s a long time ago!  When is he coming home?  I’m just wondering.

You know who my Daddy is, right?  He’s the tall, strong guy who lives here with me.  But right now he’s somewhere far away with his friends keeping everyone back home safe.  That’s what Mommy says he’s doing.  And that we should be very proud of him for doing that.  But we are all safe here so he needs to come home now.  The other day a man came to our house in a really fancy outfit, just like Daddy has.  Daddy must be a hero or have done something really great for a man like that to come to our house.  Mommy must have been so happy, she was crying.  The man said that he had saved three peoples lives.  I’m so proud of my Daddy.  Well Mommy says that tomorrow I get to wear my new shiny shoes and it’s for that very special occasion just for Daddy.  But we all have to wear all black.  Daddy won’t want to see wearing all black.  That’s not fun.  Mommy won’t let me wear my bright pink dress that Daddy bought me.  I know Daddy would like it if I would wear it.  Ok God, Mommy says I have to go to bed now.  Please bring Daddy home soon.  Why has he been gone a long time?  I’m just wondering.

This week went by super fast!  So much happened, yet not much happened.  Confusing I know.

Well tonight was the Jazz Band Valentine's Dinner and Dance.  I had fun, somewhat.  Boring at times and really sad when you have no one to slow dance with.  But Me and Maxine did try the swing dance.  That was a blast! 

I want to learn how to Swing Dance! 
I'm serious!  Anyone giving lessons?  hahaha....

Well after the Dance, Me and Mark went to Applebee's.  Great fun there!  I love hanging out with him! 

All in all the night was terrific! 

-Busy weekend.
-Valentine's Day on Tuesday.  sigh....
-Full Orchestra again.  (That women can't conduct!!)
-I have to make up so much work.  Well it's not too much but still.

Found out today that I got accepted to

                         UNT. 

I'm still waiting for UT and Fordham.  But its good to know that one of my back ups actually accepted me.
